Many sellers and purchasers are not aware of the basic terms and implications of the document most people refer to as the “Offer To Purchase”.

• The purchaser always signs the offer to purchase first, offering the seller a specific amount to buy the property.  Therefore the document is referred to as the “offer to purchase”.
• The moment the seller accepts the offer to purchase, by signing the document, the offer becomes a contract.
